Playstation Network

The Playstation 3 uses an internet network called Playstation Network. This let's you communicate and connect with friends a lot easier. Playstation Network has registered twenty million people from around the world. A really cool feature is you can browse the WHOLE internet, for free. You can watch videos from Youtube or you can post blogs to your blog site and alot more. With PSN you can get these features, all for the great cost of.. Zero dollars:
  • Lobbies/Matchmaking for immediate play
  • Scores/Rankings for comparison
  • Trophies rewarded for completing goals in some games
  • Friends list for up to 100 people
  • Voice and video chat
  • Instant messaging
  • Internet browser and google search
There is also Playstation Store where you can buy or rent games and videos or download game demos. Playstation Home let's you connect with friends and play free games with them.

PS: I didn't compare them to other Networks because I did not have enough time.. And I'm too lazy to do it.

  1. Playstation network is like the U.S. vs the U.S.S.R. They're both battling for the same thing, for pointless reasons. But once again the PS3 beat 360 with their network. It's free, you can download stuff for free, and I don't want to waste money on B.S. like demos. You win this time Alex, you win this time.

  2. All of the things you have here are nice but the Xbox 360 has them all to. The only difference is the Xbox users have to pay. A lot of people say that the Xbox network is better so maybe you should actually compare them on the blog so you have proof of the PS3's awesomeness. The last thing that I am going to say is that there is no point in adding Playstation home as one of the perks because I think that it is total crap.

  3. Thats way better than the X-box360 because you have to pay to play on the internet so I would rather get a PS3 than a X-box360. But I would also get the X-box360 because it has more of a game choice. But the PS3 also has a blueray. So out of the 2 I would get a PS3.

  4. Um, yeah, sounds good. Why wouldn't you just get a computer?
