The Playstation 3 graphics are the best in the business at this time. The PS3 uses Blu-Ray discs that are graphic intensive and can hold up to 50 gigabytes. This dominates the Xbox 360 who have regular DVD discs that can only hold 15 gigabytes and you have to pay 15 dollars extra if you want HD. How much extra does Blu-Ray cost? Zero. The Playstation 3 has a graphics processer called the NVIDIA RSX or the 'Reality Synthesizer.
This makes the Playstation have a whole list of things that the Xbox 360 or the Wii don't.
Just because the graphics of the ps3 are bettter than those of the Xbox-360, doesn't mean it's better. Blu ray discs are compatible with the ps3, and the graphics are good, but the library of games for it is not as extensive of the Xbox-360. Personally, I bought the Xbox-360 because the games for it were better. That and it was about two hundred dollars cheaper.
ReplyDeleteSure the games aren't as good.. But Xbox 360 has been out close to 18 months longer. Sony actually wanted to make a quality system instead of Xbox crap :)
ReplyDeleteyeah but 360 has MUCH quicker downloads, a way more populated multiplayer, though I will give you that there graphics are Far better, plus you guys have barely ANY exlusive hits, and you make us port our games over to sony

Yeah. That's basically the only thing that the 360 has going for it.. Faster downloads. The multiplayer is more populated because most people can't afford the PS3. Xbox 360 IS dominating in the game titles right now, but the 360 has been out 18 months longer. That's a long time in which the 360 could have dominated.
